Rural King in Logansport, IN is seeking a Customer-Focused Cashier to deliver outstanding service at the front of our registers. You’ll greet customers, process transactions, answer questions, and promote our loyalty program and RK Visa while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, following policies, assisting customers, stocking, cleaning, and contributing to a shrink-free, friendly shopping experience for our rural communities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable navigating POS systems and basic computer tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by delivering outstanding service through clear communication and active listening.
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as they enter the store.
• Follow the Cashier script to assist customers through the transaction process and educate them on programs.
• Execute cash management, return, layaway, and exchange policies with precision.
• Communicate professionally with all Rural King associates and customers.
• Provide product information and recommendations as appropriate.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance and coordinate with loaders as needed.
• Maintain clean front areas, stock, and assist with basic store duties.
