Job summary

SpartanNash, a family of companies, is seeking a front-end supervisor for Family Fare located in Allendale, Michigan. You will oversee front-end operations, supervise staff in the absence of the Customer Service Manager, and ensure transactions and customer service meet the store's standards.

Responsibilities include cashiering, product knowledge, training, and coordination of shifts to support financial goals. A strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and guest experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform all front-end transactions accurately (cash, checks, debit/credit/EBT, etc.) in accordance with policies.
• Maintain knowledge of product locations, Ad items, and coupons to support sales programs.
• Train others and supervise staff to meet productivity targets.
• Oversee scheduling and departmental staffing to optimize performance.
• Handle returns, perishable items, and ensure proper merchandise control.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, safe, and attractive departments.
• Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• Assist other departments as needed based on customer needs.
