Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a Support Lead in Olive Branch, MS, to assist with front-end leadership and store operations. You will wow customers, train associates, manage cash handling, and ensure cleanliness and safety while driving sales.

You will lead during your shift as Manager on Duty, oversee staff development, and maintain strong KPIs, including CSAT and payroll alignment. This is an hourly, full-time role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensure all associates and managers wow the Customer through personal contact with customers
• Responsible for achieving CSAT score goals provided by the District Manager
• Lead Front End Operations
• Train the staff on the High Fives of Customer Service
• Ensure that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout
• Maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times
• Open and close store procedures
• Assist with Front End Operations
• Perform SM duties in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist in supervising and developing all Associates
• Coaching and developing staff
• Review corporate communications and respond accordingly
• Drive store sales and control expenses
• Assist payroll process and ensure payroll is within budget
• Assist in merchandising procedures
• Adhere to Five Below SOPs and cash handling procedures
• Authorize register functions including post voids, returns and discounts
