Job summary

Cavender’s in Little Rock, AR seeks a Head Cashier to lead the front-end and deliver Best of the WEST service. You will train cashiers, process transactions accurately, and keep the store clean and stocked.

You’ll monitor front-end flow, assist store leadership, and ensure policies and safety are followed while coaching a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong customer service, cash handling experience, and the ability to lead others on a busy sales floor.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash transactions.
• Experience training and coaching associates while promoting a positive team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• English reading and comprehension required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through their shopping experience.
• Accurately process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions.
• Train and coach cashiers on POS procedures and company policies.
• Monitor front-end operations and assist leadership in resolving customer concerns.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and properly displayed per standards.
• Follow safety and security policies and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with merchandising updates, price changes, and other store tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
