Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced frontline team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will mentor cashiers, manage schedules and breaks, and assist with onboarding new staff in a dynamic grocery environment.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and reliable multitasking to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience. Flexible scheduling and a focus on team growth are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Ability to lead and mentor a fast-paced team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and move carts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure excellent customer service.
• Oversee scheduling, meal/rest breaks, and compliance with company policy and state laws.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain register supply levels and ensure store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Monitor store areas for security and loss prevention and respond to issues as they arise.
