The role requires a friendly demeanor, leadership capabilities, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic retail environment. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer-facing skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator and scanner.
• Strong communication, able to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move carts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide guidance to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Schedule, monitor breaks and ensure compliance with company policy.
• Oversee cleanliness and safety in restrooms and parking areas.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers.
• Maintain security by monitoring exits and loss prevention.
