The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering with leadership training, a friendly attitude, and the ability to multi-task and handle cash accurately. Evening and weekend availability is often required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service focus and professional demeanor as a role model.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state law.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers; address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Help maintain cleanliness and security at the point of sale.
