Job summary

Cavender’s Webster, Texas seeks a Head Cashier to lead the front-end, deliver Best of the WEST service, and train cashiers.

You will accurately process purchases, returns, and exchanges, monitor front-end operations, and coach team members to uphold company standards.

Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor, handle cash and POS tasks, respond to customer inquiries, and collaborate with store leadership to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Ability to train and coach associates while promoting a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and position merchandise.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations and deliver Best of the WEST customer service.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Train, coach, and support cashiers on POS procedures and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Monitor front-end operations and assist store leadership as needed.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
