Sprouts Farmers Market in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist at the register, schedule breaks, and help with hiring and training to maintain smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, strong math skills, and a friendly, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude with customers.
• Able to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator and scanner.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and handle repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with front-end operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Assign store sweeps and monitor cash register supply levels.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restrooms and parking areas.
• Maintain visibility for security and loss prevention at exits.
• Schedule and oversee breaks according to policy and state law.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions.
