Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Front End Supervisor to oversee guest service at the front end, ensuring fast and pleasant checkout experiences. You will supervise staff, train cashiers, and enforce policies daily at the Hickory store location.

You will coordinate with store leadership, manage traffic flow, and ensure floors and lanes meet standards while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with guests and teammates.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front end operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Guest Service Standards
• Ensures that No Noticeable Wait Policy front end standards are met at all times.
• Manages guest traffic flow and monitors productivity.
• Works with Store Manager to schedule to labor guides.
• Trains cashiers to call additional hosts as needed.
• Handles guest requests, refunds, overrides, and approvals promptly.
• Ensures front end is clean and organized.
• Models positive behavior in appearance and integrity.
• Monitors and enforces front end policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
• Training and Development of Front End Hosts
• Provides direction to hosts not meeting standards.
• Communicates problem areas to guest service manager.
• Provides consistent on-the-job feedback to maintain service levels.
• Process guest orders (including cashier duties).
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
