Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completion.
• 6 months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Solid math skills for daily transactions.
• Good judgment and decision-making ability.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant environment.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and thank customers for their business.
• Greet customers and assist by escorting them to products and loading unload heavy items.
• Anticipate needs, respond to questions, and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee front-end operations to meet sales, labor, and shrink targets.
• Set priorities and maintain front-end conditions.
• Ensure accurate checkout and policy adherence by front-end staff.
• Train and coach associates on policies, product handling, and price checks.
• Report pricing discrepancies to the pricing coordinator.
• Provide back-up coverage for the service operations manager when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of checkout policies, operations, and bookkeeping tasks.
• Operate equipment per company standards (scanner, register, scale, etc.).
• Assist with front-end tasks like stocking, bagging, and cleaning.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations; report unsafe conditions.
• Perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
