Job summary

Responsibilities include processing transactions accurately, training and coaching fellow associates on front-end policies, and maintaining compliance with safety and store procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months related experience or training; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor; team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of service and customer experience by resolving concerns.
• Assist customers by escorting to products and helping with heavy items.
• Oversee front-end operations to meet sales and labor goals.
• Ensure front-end cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain checkout standards.
• Train and coach associates on front-end policies and procedures.
• Communicate pricing and signage discrepancies to supervisors.
• Support service operations manager in their absence.
