Job summary

Highgate Hotels’ Residence Inn Las Vegas is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to deliver attentive guest service at check-in/out and maximize occupancy and revenue. You will oversee front desk operations, greet guests, manage inquiries, and ensure smooth PBX and room assignment processes.

The ideal candidate has hotel experience, a High School diploma, basic computer skills, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
• Ability to stand during shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per hotel standards.
• Maintain PBX operations and ensure standards are met.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities, and hours.
• Manage logging/delivery of packages and messages to guests/meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork and reports.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs professionally and promptly.
• Be familiar with rate quotes, packages, and in-house groups.
• Operate Front Desk computer system and follow shift checklist.
