Job summary

Kolter Hospitality Group is seeking a Lead Gallery Host at Hyatt Place Coconut Point in Estero, FL to manage the front desk and food & beverage operations. This role supports guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

You will supervise front desk staff, assist guests with check-in/check-out, and coordinate meeting room setups per BEOs while upholding safety and company policies. The position is full-time and requires weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel Front Desk experience.
• Experience overseeing/directing a team is a plus.
• Able to work most weekends and holidays.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front desk operations during assigned shift.
• Ensure front desk staff is familiar with hotel products and services.
• Handle all guest issues in a courteous and efficient manner ensuring problem resolution is satisfactory.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
• Ensure meeting rooms are set up and serviced according to banquet event order (BEO)
• Responsible for Food & Beverage inventory and ordering
• Oversee FIFO (first in/first out) process with Food & Beverage
• Ensure company policies are adhered to, relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing including timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
• Ensure daily arrival of VIP’s, special request rooms, long stay guest rooms are pre-blocked in advance.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate and follow up on all guest and room information.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
