Gold's Gym in Harrisburg NC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to greet members, manage check-ins, and support front-desk operations. You will handle inquiries, direct guests to fitness consultants, process sales, and maintain a welcoming front area.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and basic cash handling skills. Flexibility to work holidays and weekends is essential; training provided for health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
• Ability to communicate verbally, non-verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
• Functional computer skills and ability to multi-task.
• Flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift 25lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Greet members, guests and staff and direct them as they enter the gym.
• Provide front door control and assist with inquiries about operations and policies.
• Check-in members and register guests using proper procedures.
• Direct guests to the appropriate fitness consultant and answer phone inquiries.
• Process retail and concession sales and maintain a clean, organized front area.
• Attend staff meetings and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Log maintenance concerns and safety issues and report incidents as needed.
• Operate smoothie machines and maintain the smoothie bar area.
