Job summary

FirstService Residential in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a full-time front desk/operations role focused on delivering quality customer service to residents and guests. You will handle shifts, enforce policy, and respond to emergencies with a strong emphasis on safety and communication.

The role requires leadership, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a multi-building environment. Travel may be required for training and company functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in vacation, sick time, leave of absence, and last-minute shift coverage.
• Adheres to company policy in all assigned properties.
• Needs reliable transportation and communication.
• Must wear company-approved attire and display badges.
• Maintain neat and safe work areas; follow all safety procedures.
• Check fire alarm panels and report issues in writing to the Property Manager.
• Work per schedule from the Director of Operations/Front Desk Coordinator with close supervision.
• Respond to emergencies within two hours of notification.
• Report complaints/issues to the Director of Operations/Front Desk Coordinator.
• On call 24/7 for emergencies and call-outs as assigned by the Front Desk leadership.
• May be assigned other duties as required.
