Job summary

Patient First in Falls Church, VA is seeking a friendly front desk associate to help patients at the kiosk, register them, and coordinate care with clinicians. You will explain billing policies, collect payments, and ensure accurate patient data entry with a customer-first approach.

The role requires reliable multi-tasking, basic typing, and excellent communication. You may support multiple centers as needed and participate in daily cash handling and office maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic typing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 7 hours.
• Willing to work at any center as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients at the kiosk prior to registration and escort to treatment area when needed.
• Register patients accurately with excellent customer service and compassion.
• Explain billing policies and collect payments; issue receipts.
• Verify patient demographics, health, pharmacy and insurance data.
• Answer billing questions and provide itemized statements.
• Maintain cash handling duties and end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Receive, send and distribute correspondence; file and scan forms.
• Operate and maintain medical and office equipment as trained.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with additional duties as directed.
