Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is looking for a friendly front desk associate to greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and answer questions about appointments, insurance, and procedures. You will collect co-pays and balances and help explain financial policies to patients.

You will schedule appointments, handle calls, and ensure timely communication while inputting patient demographics and insurance details into the EMR. A High School diploma and 2+ years in medical settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Epic EMR experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and patient-focused demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in/out, and assist with questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures.
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and balances while explaining financial policies.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer calls, and ensure timely communication.
• Input/update patient demographics, insurance, and visit details in the EMR.
• Open/close front office, keep waiting area organized, and support clinic flow.
