Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) for the Mason Primary Care location. You will be the first point of contact, handling patient registrations, insurance verification, scheduling, and data entry while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role supports multiple practices as needed and emphasizes accuracy, efficient patient flow, and strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and community with respectful communication and excellent service.
• Schedule patients, verify demographics, and enter data into computer systems accurately.
• Process patient registrations and insurance information; verify coverage as needed.
• Assist with referrals, scheduling changes, and uses of online scheduling tools.
