Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience in a medical setting with insurance billing.
• Proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and input all appointments in scheduling module.
• Ensure pre-procedure/preoperative activities are scheduled or completed.
• Assist with admissions by collecting identification and insurance information.
• Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations as required by payer.
• Complete front-end billing process and data entry into registration module.
• Maintain confidentiality in medical and financial records.
