Qualificações

• 1–2 years’ related experience preferably in a medical setting with insurance billing.
• Proficient in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to supporting software applications.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and input all appointments in scheduling module in a timely and efficient manner.
• Greet patients and visitors and collect patient identification and insurance information to initiate admissions.
• Assemble and maintain patient medical and financial records confidentially.
• Complete front-end billing registration processes in the system.
• Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations as required by payor.
• Assist with patient transportation if eligible under policy.
• Ensure signatures are included on charts and admissions data per FMCNA policies.
• Scan and file documents accurately and within 24 hours of visit.
