Banner Health is seeking a Front Office Patient Financial Services Representative for the Arcadia Sports Medicine and Orthopedics location in Phoenix, AZ. The role handles registration, insurance verification, and patient financial interactions to optimize reimbursement and patient experience.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. The team supports sports medicine and orthopedic services with a strong emphasis on customer service and compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient financial services or insurance processes preferred.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Register/check-in patients and collect necessary signatures and forms.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain/pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations as needed.
• Explain financial policies and collect patient liabilities; provide resources for payment options.
• Enter payments and charges and reconcile daily transactions; balance cash drawer and prepare deposits.
• Schedule appointments and procedures, ensuring alignment with payor plan provisions and next-day readiness.
• Communicate effectively with patients, care teams, and other departments to optimize patient flow.
• Process requests for patient medical records in accordance with policies and laws.
• Provide general patient services to support flow, such as escorting patients and handling mail/faxes.
