Banner Health is seeking a Front Office/Customer Experience Representative at Banner Health Center Greenway in Phoenix, AZ. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling registration, scheduling, and insurance information while delivering excellent service.

In this role, you’ll verify coverage, collect patient liabilities, and provide financial guidance to maximize reimbursement. You will work a day shift in a busy clinic and support a coordinated care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of patient financial services and insurance processes.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Performs registration/check-in processes, including data entry, providing patients with intake forms, obtaining signatures and generating population health summaries.
• Verifies insurance eligibility benefits and documents pre-certifications/referrals/authorizations.
• Calculates and collects patient liability and explains financial policies and resources for payment arrangements.
• Enters payments/charges and balances cash drawer; prepares daily deposits for centralized billing.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates visits in accordance with payor provisions; confirms next-day appointments.
• Communicates with patients via phone, email, and in person to improve patient flow and service quality.
• Responds to requests for patient medical records per company policies and state/federal laws.
• Provides patient services to aid flow, including escorting patients, taking vitals/history, and assisting in treatment.
• Works independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to compliance and reimbursement.
