Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our front desk team. You will guide patients through check-in and check-out, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience while learning about our vision care services.

No optical experience is required; training will be provided. You’ll verify insurance, confirm appointments, and coordinate with doctors to deliver best-in-class patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure
• Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to wear multiple hats
• Friendly, patient-centric demeanor and team player attitude
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Problem-solving and responding to patient requests

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check-in/out experience that is timely and seamless
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options at check-in/out
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach with Doctor availability
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and assist staff
• Cross-train to other roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians as needed
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience
