Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group – Breast Care – Ringgold is seeking a friendly Clinic Receptionist to greet patients, manage check-in, collect insurance information, and schedule appointments in a busy specialty clinic.

You will support clinical staff by maintaining accurate records in the electronic medical record, answering calls, guiding patients through paperwork, and providing compassionate, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required upon hire.
• One year of health care experience is preferred.
• Electronic medical records experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients at time of visit and complete all paperwork for admitting.
• Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductibles.
• Scan/copy patient access materials into the EMR location.
• Prepare charts for patient appointments with complete information.
