Key duties include check-in, phone management, appointment scheduling, collecting patient information and copays, and EMR documentation to ensure compliant, efficient care journeys.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service, clerical, or business-related experience.
• None, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients at visit time and complete necessary paperwork to ensure efficient admitting.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, including copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient access materials into the EMR.
