Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist to support patient flow at our Reno clinic. You will greet patients, collect payments, and coordinate follow-up appointments, while ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information.

Ideal candidates have prior front office experience in medical settings, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based software. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Front desk or reception experience preferred.
• Background in customer service or medical front office procedures desired.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide information on wait times.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle registrations.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including casts, measures, deliveries, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services, informing patients about experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management team to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
