Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute is seeking a Patient Services Manager to oversee the daily front desk operations and supervise administrative staff. You will ensure a positive, professional, and efficient front desk environment, aligned with IBJI standards and core values.

This role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and collaboration across clinics. Responsibilities include analyzing schedules and patient accounts, coordinating cross-clinic access, and driving metrics for visit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (Healthcare concentration preferred) or the equivalent of 3 years of customer service management experience.
• Proficient in EMR software; Practice Management software; Windows; MS Office; Email access; internet navigation
• Typing speed minimum 40 words per minute; Spanish/Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations and staff development.
• Review analytics, provider schedules, and patient accounts weekly.
• Optimize patient access via scheduling and cross-clinic collaboration.
• Supervise front desk staff to meet administrative metrics for visits and revenue.
• Lead performance appraisals and staff coverage management.
• Attend monthly management meetings and coordinate with physician administration.
