The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a Membership Service Coordinator to lead front desk operations, ensuring excellent customer service for members and guests. You will support the Membership Director, manage schedules, and drive member engagement at the branch level.

Responsibilities include data accuracy, inquiries handling, and implementing the local membership plan in cooperation with staff across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year experience in YMCA Member Service or 3 years related membership sales/service.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage schedules.

Responsabilités

• Works directly with the Membership Director and all branch staff to uphold customer service standards.
• Delivers the YMCA mission and philosophy to staff, members and guests.
• Maintains records; billing; data management for membership/registration; upholds policies.
• Schedules and assigns tasks to Member Service Representatives as approved.
• Responds to member inquiries and directs them to appropriate resources.
• Supports branch membership acquisition plans and participation in events.
• Assists with tours, front desk interaction and service area collaboration.
