Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a Front Desk Team Member to manage day-to-day front desk operations, process guest check-ins, and support member retention with high-quality customer service. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

The position involves handling cash/credit transactions, answering phones, coordinating with staff, and maintaining a welcoming club environment. Training in bartending skills may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card transactions.
• Strong customer service skills to engage with members.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Executes procedures as outlined by front desk manual.
• Answer phones, take messages and transfer calls.
• Knowledgeable of Clubs amenities and surroundings.
• Communicates kindly and sincerely using members name.
• Attends all staff and club meetings and events.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff.
• Ensures front desk is clean, maintained and organized at all times.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Comfortable serving alcohol.
• Willingness to learn bartending skills, if not already knowledgeable.
