Job summary

Equinox Seaport in Boston is seeking energetic Front Desk Associates to join our team. You will professionally greet members, scan IDs at entry, answer calls, and assist with member questions and updates.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in customer service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a friendly, outgoing demeanor. This role requires openness to opening/closing shifts and a passion for fitness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Friendly, energetic, and professional; able to communicate in person, via email, and via phone.
• Preferably interested in health, fitness, and/or sports.
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet members and guests.
• Scan membership IDs upon entrance.
• Answer phones professionally.
• Respond to member questions, concerns and discrepancies.
• Update members' accounts if needed.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
• Ability to work opening/closing/mid-day shifts.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• AID other departments with related tasks.
