Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to greet members, manage front-desk duties, and promote our services. The role requires high energy, friendly customer service, and the ability to handle a fast-paced retail environment.

Training hours vary; availability on weekdays and weekends is a plus. Qualifications include 18+, HS diploma, and at least 6 months of in-person customer service or 1 year fitness experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.
• Discuss your availability with the Hiring Manager and/or notate it on your application.
• Weekday and/or Weekend Hours based on club needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.
• Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service.
• Resolve customer concerns with a pleasant experience using strong communication and problem solving.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the club for up to 50% of the shift.
• Accept payments from customers and give change and receipts.
• Drive revenue by communicating and demonstrating benefits of products and promotions to customers.
• Answer customers' questions and provide information regarding policies in a customer-friendly way.
