Job summary

Planet Fitness in Beaufort, SC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to deliver a superior member experience within our Judgement Free Zone®. You will greet guests, sign up new members, answer questions, and support club operations to ensure a welcoming environment.

You’ll connect with members on the club floor, process memberships, handle inquiries, and coordinate with management to resolve concerns. Training will be provided to help you excel in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and assist with questions at check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
• Handle memberships: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Provide tours to prospective members and assess their needs.
• Process retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Clean/sanitize equipment and facilities; maintain restrooms.
• Perform regular club walks and address safety/policy issues.
• Address maintenance issues as needed.
