American Family Care seeks a friendly front desk receptionist to accurately check patients in and out by verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records. You will help maintain patient flow and provide positive patient relations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to balance cash and complete closing procedures. Training and a great small business work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical clerical experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer software (Microsoft Office).

Responsabilités

• Check in and register patients, verify insurance, and collect IDs.
• Greet patients and prepare registration packets.
• Register and update patient records; verify insurance promptly.
• Process patient payments and address billing issues.
• Balance daily charges and close out cash at end of day.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support customer service.
