Qualifications

• Understanding of medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, keep them informed while managing lobby flow.
• Collect registration data, insurance info, photo ID; verify records.
• Enter patient data into the system and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Verify insurance and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Assist scheduling referrals and maintain lobby cleanliness.
• Balance daily charges and safeguard collected payments.
• Support staff and coordinate referrals as needed.
