Responsibilities

• Greets patients courteously and manages the reception area.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Enters patient data accurately into the computer system.
• Verifies insurance and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as applicable.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and physician information.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards receipts.
• Schedules referrals and coordinates with providers as needed.
• Maintains lobby area and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Supports staff and helps with other duties as assigned.
