Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is a network of dermatology clinics delivering general, cosmetic, medical, and cancer screening services across multiple states. The Front Desk Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering patient-first service in a fast-paced clinic and maintaining accurate patient records in EMA.

The role requires a friendly, professional demeanor, 2–3 years of front desk experience in a medical setting, and proficiency with EMR systems and insurance verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working at the front desk in a medical office/clinic.
• Prior dermatology or cosmetic experience is preferred.
• Patient check-in and check-out workflows.
• Prior insurance verification and scheduling experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations including answering phones and greeting patients.
• Schedule all appointments and forward non-routine requests as needed.
• Review EMA for information and update patient records accordingly.
• Identify payer sources and verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
• Record and collect patient copays and balances at check-in/out.
