Job summary

The Westin Monache in Mammoth Lakes, California is seeking a front desk Associate to warmly greet guests, register arrivals, and coordinate with lodge staff to ensure smooth service. You will handle reservations, answer service questions, and process payments at checkout.

Minimum one year in guest relations, strong communication, and basic computer skills are required. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction in a resort setting and involves multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with general business office training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in public or guest relations service.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to Guests. Dispatch Lodge Staff such as Housekeepers and Maintenance Service employees in response to Guest requests.
• Make, change and cancel reservations. Serve as Lodge telephone operator.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services as well as other Mammoth California services. Compute bill, collect payment, and check guests out of the hotel.
