Job summary

The Westin Monache in Mammoth Lakes is seeking a Front Office Representative. You will greet, register and check in guests, and dispatch lodge staff to fulfill requests, while handling reservations and guest inquiries at the front desk.

Responsibilities include processing payments, updating guest bills, and facilitating smooth checkout, with a focus on friendly service and efficient operations in a year-round resort setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with general business office training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in public or guest relations service.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to Guests.
• Dispatches Lodge Staff such as Housekeepers and Maintenance Service employees in response to Guest requests.
• Makes, changes and cancels reservations.
• Serves as Lodge telephone operator.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services as well as other Mammoth California services.
• Computes bill, collects payment, and checks guests out of the hotel.
