This role emphasizes selling hotel services, maintaining a polished lobby, and coordinating with housekeeping. A strong hospitality mindset and ability to use the PMS are essential; some shifts may include overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience or guest service background.
• Ability to perform check-in/check-out and manage guest requests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and handle special requests.
• Promote and sell hotel services and amenities.
• Encourage repeat bookings and provide recommendations.
• Identify sales leads from guest interactions and report to management.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments on requests.
• Verify credit cards before end of shift.
• Learn and use the PMS system.
• Balance cash, checks, and miscellaneous payments at shift end.
• Maintain a clean lobby and dining area.
• Follow emergency procedures and safety standards.
• Report unusual occurrences to the manager.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
