Job summary

Parable Hospitality LLC is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative in Santa Barbara to greet guests, check in/out, and assist with their stay. You will handle reservations by phone and in person, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations about the hotel and local area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Hotel front desk experience is a plus, not required.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Able to handle cash and basic accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving guests with a friendly, efficient check-in.
• Process departures, close accounts, and ensure charges are accurate.
• Handle cash, credit transactions, receipts, and guest accounts per procedures.
• Answer questions and provide recommendations about the hotel and area.
• Manage reservations by phone and in person, communicating rates and availability.
• Use suggestive selling to enhance guest experiences.
• Stay informed about amenities, activities, and local events.
• Assist other hotel teams to support the guest experience.
