Qualifications

• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours.
• Handle packages, mail, and messages for guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare paperwork for shift close.
• Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs in a friendly manner.
• Be familiar with in-house groups, rates, and promotions.
• Operate Front Desk computer system and maintain shift checklists.
