Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) is seeking a part-time Front Desk Guest Services Associate to warmly welcome guests at Navy Gateway Inns & Suites and Navy Lodge properties. You will support reservations, payments, check-in/check-out, and inquiries while maintaining security and cleanliness of the lobby area.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, balancing transactions, and using the PMS for reservations and records, ensuring high-quality guest service during shifts that may include

Qualifications

One year of general office clerical experience.
One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
Substitution: college/university study above high school level may substitute for 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a positive attitude and provide professional guest interactions.
Assist guests with reservations, payments, and check-in/check-out processes.
Maintain lobby cleanliness, security, and front desk records.
Operate the Property Management System (PMS) to access guest information and reservations.
Use the multi-line phone system to handle inquiries and relay messages.
Prepare and balance shift transactions, reports, and cash handling.
