Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. seeks a Front Desk Associate for a part-time role at the Texarkana hotel. You will handle guest check-ins/outs, answer calls, upsell rooms, and assist guests with services while maintaining a professional and welcoming lobby environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, strong computer and typing skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Availability for 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak fluent English
• Strong computer and typing skills, tech-savvy
• Stand for long periods behind the desk and front office areas
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work weekends, and/or holidays and all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional guest service.
• Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services, local area and room location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Upsell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Be proficient on the use of the Property Management System.
• Completion of all brand trainings and log on to Brand Portal.
• Know and follow brand requirements and hotel operating procedures.
• Process cash and credit card transactions per procedures.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests with appropriate service recovery.
• Perform other duties including guest room tours, breakfast setup, lobby cleaning, meeting room setup, data entry, document scanning, and reporting.
• Read and document events and incidents in the communication log.
• Ensure lobby and public areas are well presented and secure.
