Job summary

LBA Hospitality in Huntsville, AL seeks a Front Desk Associate to deliver friendly guest service, manage the front office, and act as Manager on Duty during chosen shifts. You will greet guests, assign rooms, promote services, and respond quickly to requests.

Responsibilities include check-ins/outs, maintaining a clean lobby, coordinating with housekeeping, and following safety procedures. This role requires flexibility, weekend work, and ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform standing, lifting, bending, and communicating.
• Must be able to push/pull 60 pounds and lift/carry 30 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to stand for eight hours and see/hear clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain privacy, and accommodate requests.
• Promote and sell hotel services and amenities.
• Encourage repeat business by taking future reservations and offering alternatives.
• Be aware of sales leads from guest interactions and report to management.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments on special requests and late check-outs.
• Verify credit cards for validity before end of shift.
• Learn and utilize the PMS system.
• Ensure all cash/credit transactions balance at shift end.
• Maintain a clean, professional lobby and dining area.
