Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Guest Service Representative to join our Huntsville property and deliver welcoming, memorable experiences for every guest. You will handle front-desk tasks, reservations, and payments with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You may serve as Manager on Duty when assigned and will support revenue growth through effective selling strategies. This on-site role requires strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales, reservations, or guest relations preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, register, and check out guests while protecting privacy.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, cancellations, and loyalty-program participation.
• Answer calls and provide accurate information about services, rates, amenities, and area.
• Post charges and balance transactions using the property-management system.
• Verify payments and reconcile cash, checks, and cards at shift end.
• Promote hotel services and future reservations.
• Identify sales opportunities and share leads with the team.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and document service recoveries.
• Coordinate special requests, late checkouts, and maintenance needs across departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized lobby, front desk, and public areas.
• Follow guest privacy, safety, cash-handling, and emergency procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed.
