Job summary

TownePlace Suites Kernersville is seeking a Guest Service Associate to join our Front Office team. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll handle check-ins, reservations, guest services, and phone inquiries, while maintaining a welcoming lobby and breakfast area.

You’ll work with our sales and operations teams to deliver a memorable stay, require at least a high school diploma and 1 year of front office hotel experience, and be flexible to nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher-level education.
• 1-year Hotel front office experience.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations including reservations, guest services, and telephone inquiries.
• Ensure lobby and public areas are clean, welcoming, and presentable (breakfast area).
• Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
• Provide local insights and assist guests to ensure a friction-free stay.
• Process check-ins/outs, manage IDs, keys, and safety deposit boxes.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies, and maintain professional appearance.
