Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking a cheerful Front Desk Agent to deliver outstanding service at our Richmond, VA property. You will greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, answer questions about rooms, rates, and amenities, and help resolve guest concerns with a friendly tone.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and cash-handling skills. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, and the position offers an on-site work environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Front Desk Agent or receptionist or similar role.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Assist guests and resolve guest challenges to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
• Accurately conduct all cash handling and credit card processing activities
• Audit and balance cash and transactions according to policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
