Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, answer phones, and collect payments in accordance with company guidelines. The role emphasizes delivering a consistent, friendly guest experience and maintaining safety and front desk standards.

The position involves assisting guests, processing reservations, and managing daily front desk tasks while upholding ESA’s service culture and procedures.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology.
• Understand and comply with safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math for transactions and balancing.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out, and collect payment per guidelines.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and enforce safety procedures.
• Resolve guest issues using the Make it Right process with a courteous service culture.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments and departures as directed.
• Manage cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts for the property.
• Maintain breakfast display and keep areas organized and tidy.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Collect guest information and identify potential sales leads.
• Conduct periodic property tours to ensure brand standards are met.
• Provide reasonable accommodations for guest requests when possible.
• Adhere to key control and safety reporting policies.
