Job summary

Shamin Hotels seeks a Guest Service Agent to check guests in and out, handle reservations, answer questions about the hotel and surrounding area, and provide recommendations. You will greet guests warmly, assign rooms, and distribute keys with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room key and escort instructions to Bell person or guest.
• Transmits and receives messages using hotel communications.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and activities in area.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
• Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.
• May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
• Cross sells hotel services and amenities.
